reed skill generate [--dir <path>] [--spec <name>] [--out <path>]

Generates an Agent Skill pack — a SKILL.md and its supporting files — from one of your configured API specs.

Prerequisites: a skill.<spec> block in docs.json. See API and generation.

Options

--dirpath

Project root. Defaults to the current directory.

--specstring

Generate for one configured spec. Omit to generate every configured skill.<spec> entry.

--outpath

Overrides the configured output directory.

generate is the only subcommand.

Bundling your own pages

skill.<spec>.concepts lists page references bundled verbatim into the pack — the prose an agent needs that no OpenAPI document contains: what the concepts mean, which call order is correct, what the failure modes are.

References are checked in two places. Their lexical shape and any duplicates within the array are caught by the schema; whether each one resolves to real content is checked against your content directory. An unresolvable reference fails rather than silently bundling nothing.

The output is yours

The pack is written into your repository. Reed does not host or distribute it.
